About Midtherm
Since 1968, Midtherm has delivered precision-engineered flue and chimney systems, combining decades of expertise with modern manufacturing technologies. As part of the Expo Inox Group, we provide innovative solutions across fabrication, laser cutting, assembly, coatings, all built to the highest ISO 9001 quality standards.
Our Story
Founded in 1968 by Ray Andrews, Midtherm began as a small sheet metal workshop serving heating and ventilation contractors. In the early 1970s, Ray made a bold investment in stainless steel and began manufacturing flue products for commercial installations. His focus on quality craftsmanship, reliable service, and fast turnaround quickly established Midtherm as a trusted name in the industry.
During the 1980s, the company expanded its expertise by acquiring machinery and skilled staff, paving the way for a new range of domestic flue systems. The launch of the HT-S twin-wall product marked a significant milestone — a system so dependable that it continues to carry a 20-year warranty to this day.
Over the decades, Midtherm has evolved into a leader in precision manufacturing and flue system design, offering a wide range of services including laser cutting, bending, fabrication, coatings, assembly and fabrication work. Our work is supported by an independently certified ISO 9001 quality management system, ensuring that every product meets the highest standards of performance and reliability.
A New Chapter – 2025 and Beyond
In 2025, Midtherm joined the Expo Inox Group, marking an exciting new chapter in our growth. This partnership enhances our ability to innovate, expand our services, and strengthen our position in both UK and international markets.
